About our parent organisation Events 4 Greater Good

What's On - All the usual family fun plus more!

The sixth annual Noosa Come Together Festival will take place on Sunday June 4th 2023

The Brain Child of Oz Bayldon, (Events4GreaterGood) the festival was born in 2016 when a small a group of locals joined together to raise funds to ensure that the “Sailability” sailing program for children and people with disabilities would continue on the Noosa River.

To date over 100k has been raised thanks to local community donations and sponsors, enabling money to be donated to additional community programs such as Riding for the Disabled and the Disabled Surfing Association to name a few.

Held on the beautiful Noosa River foreshore, Laguna Realty has been the platinum sponsor for the last 6 years, once again sponsoring this year, highlighting their commitment to the community and this event.

Other sponsors include Coast 2 Coast Earthmoving and RJS Accounting who have both backed the event since day one, while media outlets and local businesses continue to generously donate items and services towards our online auction and on festival day.

The Sailability Program

Sailability is about offering people with disability the opportunity to have the same enjoyment of sailing that many people experience on a regular basis.

Sailability is a not for profit international program first introduced to Australia in the 1990’s, and offered at Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club since 2010.

Sailability enriches the lives of people of all abilities – the elderly, the financially and socially disadvantaged as well as people with physical challenges.

The NYRC have qualified instructors, experienced volunteers and equipment to assist people of all abilities to get into sailing!

This program is calling for your support! Local businesses are asked to assist in sponsoring the program with financial support.

By involving local businesses in the program, it will provide them with the opportunity to engage the local community and be seen publicly supporting activities for people with disabilities.

Please contact the Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club Reception if you are interested in sponsoring this program. Gold & Silver sponsorship levels are available.

Donations are also invited to continue this valuable program.
