To come together and raise vital funds for the incredible work Sailability Noosa does in our community and for people living with disabilities on the Sunshine coast. And make it more prominent?
Backline will be a Gretsch kit but drummers will need their own breakables and snare. Last festival I had my hi hat stand wrecked and lost me kick drum pedals so please take care of this kit that I’ve borrowed. I would prefer every drummer uses it so it gets set up once and pulled down once rather than lots of changes. If someone wants to use their own kit I would prefer it was used all day rather than swapping out as there is very little room in the yacht club for any extra equipment.
If you could be there at least 30 mins before the gig and make yourself known to Mina and the sound boys so we have quick change overs. If your change overs run over it will cut short your set, not the next bands. We have 2 small guitar amps and the bass and acoustics will be DI’d so bring your amps if you wish to use them.
The yacht club has offered a free feed for all artists which is great and we’re just waiting to see what that looks like whether it’s a stock pot/curry option or limited menu items.
